    I remember this popped up once before in an earlier version, probs nine or something..

    Anyways; when my project takes up X amount of space in the playlist and I hit 4 to view the whole project, these colours and names and shit overlap every pattern, sample and automation clip and it's fucking with my head and my workflow.

    How do I stop this from ever happening ever again?

    I'm seriously guys, I have to restart FL every time I hit 4 by habit and I can't edit my automation clips or anything..

    I'm on my other thing, I'll grab one off the proper one later.

    But it's like the patterns are covered with this coloured shit, they're consistent with the colours I've chosen for the patterns and the ones that are automatically applied to automation clips and stuff. They're rounded in the corners and semi transparent so I can barely make out the patterns inside.

    I open a new project, the shit's all over it, I close FL and restart, it disappears.

    Yeah that happens when the "header" (for lack of a better term) of the pattern overlaps with the rest of the pattern, probably because you're zoomed out too much.

    See in these screenshots;

    The only thing I have done is zoomed out with the icon indicated in the second pic.

    I don't think there is a way to turn this off, but yeah, that's what is happening.

    You click on it and drag up and down to zoom in and out.
    And no, it's FL10.
