April, the month we all start to get back in that Summer Groove! With that in mind and a self-imposed late-winter hibernation behind them (hey, it was cold!), FIZZY step back onto the hallowed Camden turf once again to bring a line-up all about the music.
FIZZY are more than happy to present one of the originators of the scene and most well-known names in dnb today, with a long running Radio 1 show on his c.v even your mum has probably heard of him
FABIO:
a man who`s name has been synomynous with all that is good in the world of dnb for over 2 decades graces the decks at FIZZY for the first time, in what promises to be a very special night: Saturday APRIL 17th 2010 at CAMDEN ROCK.
Throughout his time in drum and bass aswell as steering Creative Source througha steady list of renowned releases Fabio has championed the sounds of quality dnb. While rightly being well-known for driving the emergence of the genre now known as `Liquid Funk` those who have seen FABIO dj will know that his dj sets can encompass the harder more teccy style of dnb, through of course to the soulful vibes for which he is best known. This ethos is pretty much what FIZZY has tried to provide for the past 4 and a bit years, a bit of everything, though we admit it unlikely FABIO will be playing any wobble for you
EVESON:
has quickly made a name for himself with releases clocked up on such illustrious labels and diverse labels as Good Looking, Creative Source, CIA, Liquid V, and 31 Records. EVESON is no longer an emerging talent but an established one. Same as FABIO anyone who has seen EVESON dj knows that he can lay down as varied a set as the next man while ensuring quality and a firm nod to the dancefloor throughout.
PAUL T:
who is about to provide one of the tracks to label FIZZY BEATS upcoming second release (FIZZY002:Mr Joseph -So High/ Paul T -Beautiful Girl) - returns for his 2nd appearance at FIZZY. Having also had tunes on labels such as Spearhead and a release planned for Good Looking, PAUL T can also be relied upon to keep the musical quality at an agreeable height.
AARON JAY:
is the label boss for Influence Records who recently had a whole evening dedicated to their output on the popular DNBA TV series. Aswell as running Influence AARON JAY is a regular on the decks at the world famous SWERVE night (co-incidentally run by our headliner FABIO), and is the last but not least of the guest dj`s we have down for this special night.
MR JOSEPH :
who himself has clocked up recent releases on numerous labels and recived Radio 1 airplay via Fabio, Grooverider and Bailey. Mr Joseph also won the Sun and Bass Serato DJ competition in Sardinia 2009 and recently appeard on Drum and Bass Arena TV.
DJ IZZY (co-owner of succesful new boat party night Undone) are also on hand as ever to lay down trademark FIZZY sounds as per the vibe at the time.
