Yo! been trying to work out how to dub audio over a recording off my phone for a video mix.. came up with the below video as my first attempt. using IMovie and just importing the audio over the video, however the audio starts in sync perfectly but slowly starts going slightly out of sync with the video. I was wondering if you all can offer any tips to prevent this going forward? anyway here is the Vid ! @Gloxxy as my mentor you may want to see this!
Yes Tone. Are you using Traktor's build in recorder to record the mix? What camera are you using to record the video footage?
yep using the built in record from traktor straight to my mac and recording the video via my Samsung S6.. I was wondering if when im exporting it i should be doing it at a lower framerate? possibly causing the audio to go out slightly! learning curve and all that!
not that I could see mate, although took me long enough to get it bloody exported properly so may not have noticed, unsure why it look in sync for the first 10 mins then suddenly drifts out! in before its the mixing thats out
Listening now that first mix with Rotor is tidy One thing about these video mixes - I want to see everything - would much prefer the camera to either be on your head or above you...just my 2 cents
I think he said he used his phone to record.....although I would love to see this for multiple camera views.....ha ha https://www.fugly.com/media/IMAGES/Random/cell_phone_head_freak.jpg
was on my phone so that didn't work very well. Loved the mix Tone. I always enjoy watching the way people vibe out when they are mixing.....we have a similar sway when in the mix. Big ups.
gonna try and get something to enable me to record better angles i reckon mate. only place i can use it at the moment is by jaming it in between the rcas's on my traktor box!
