    Been thinking about this recently.

No diss to anyone who has to live with it, but I would hate to be Julian aka 'Jules' I swear most males known as 'Jay' are christened Julian.

Name I like is Don, which is sorta ok (for me), cos I'm called Daniel, known as Dan, Daniel or D but was named after my Dad's bro (rip) who was called Don but was known as (bizarrely) Dan by all his family. Would rather have be called Don tho.

    :)

Josef - you'd get called Jo, which is alright.

    Glenn is pretty bad.

Must have been 1,000's of Adolf's is Germany before WW2, prolly plenty still alive who changed it / switched to middle names pronto.:)

Boudi, u are lucky for having visionary parents = one of the best, unusual names I ever heard.

Keith is pretty bad, but I got a soft spot for it (wouldn't like to be called it tho). Mate at school called Keith, aka Beef, just cos it rhymed:D. & caretaker where I used to work called Keith, had a Jamaican wife who'd phone up asking for him pronounced it 'Keet' took me a while to know wtf she was on about.:)

    U mean like Muddy Waters?

    :)

Saw bit of a doc on freeview last nite 'Polygamous Wives', was a fella called 'Kestrel', surely not birth name? Was a bit of a dick, who had his 1st wife agree to polygamy (multiple wives) then they found new woman to be '2nd wife' who was also into women, ended up with 3somes and seperate lezza fun for 2 wives. Win win surely, but Kestrel can't be his real name. Can it?
