Filming gigs...

We need some help....

Looking to buy a camcorder to take on tour/gigs that can record in low light environments and record loud sounds!!!

We have had a few suggestions like the HD Flip but have no idea which one to get. Budget is about £300...

Any geeks out there that can help?

id say your best bet is to record audio and video seperately, and sync it later. that way you could record straight out of the mixer and have the best audio quality possible..

it's gonna be difficult to get a camcoder that gets really good audio, u sure you couldn't just buy one of those little 70 quid things that goes into the back of the mixer and records like 2 hours audio and then film it as well??

You'll definitely need to buy a mic for the camera at least mate. Can't really help you with specifics I'm afraid but in built mics on cameras just can't handle loud noises/bass.
