I love Fabric, sick venue. There have been thieves and muggings there before, so keep your wits about you.

thieves and muggings???? at a dnb rave????? no way!!?!??! :teeth:

its been a good few years since ive been to a proper dnb event, but when i used to go raving at was very much the norm to have some cunt try and rob you, it was just the norm to learn how to avoid it......... steering clear of the clouds of crack smoke with all the blokes who never smile or dance was always recommended, though easier said than done

i must admit though.... fabric was one of the very few venues i went to where it wassnt a problem at all

amazing soundsystem there never heard any better yet, really rammed aswell. One thing I loved about the main room is when the djs use the dj booth, it feels like more of a club cuz the whole crowd aint facin the same direction n people r actually dancin.

have to agree with you there mate, i grew up on raves like telepathy, roast and fever at venues like club un, astoria etc

to say you had to have your wits about you in them gaffs as a teenager is an understatement

loved every minute of it tho, it was all part of the buzz in them dayz

although fabric is more like a public school disco compared to them places it does seem to have it's fair share of snidey little pick pocketing cunts

i went to fabric for the first time in years a few weeks back and a group of birds i was talking to in there had there phones and other bits lifted off them so i wouldnt leave anything in your back pocket...

sound system is still propa tough tho!

    ^^ this ^^

yeah fever always got a shifty crowd, no matter what venue...

i remember at a heat vs fever @ astoria (cant remember the year)..... it all kicked off with the mc's... apparently someone slapped shabba on stage, all i remember is alot of commotion and they stopped the tunes then i see bassman open his jacket and he was wearing a bulletproof vest with something sticking out the top of his trousers..... and i dont think it was his cock

strange thing is.... if i see that now i would be like 'fuck me this is mental, this aint a good place to be' but back then it was more like.... 'ffs wheres the tunes gone?? im about to come up!'

    good times :)

yep... they generally wear suits and earpieces.... they like like to feel you up as you come through the door too ;)

i think its less about thieves but more the fact there's far too many tourists/smashed 16 year olds/general arseholes at fabric these days. too rammed to have your own space. but if ts your first time you'll love it

if you ain't threatened at knife point, the wolves will get you.

yeah, wolves. don't let anyone tell you different. loads of 'em round there.

witches too, spell binding slag witches, that stab you up and steal your shoes and turn you into wolf food.

it's hell round those parts, but you'll have a good time.
