Yeah I can't see them closing Fabric anytime soon - they're still packing it out week after week, the record label is still releasing as "Fabric" - basically they are still spending money on promoting that brand, if they were going to close it and re-brand everything as matter they would have already started the rebranding process by now...
Also the management team behind Fabric have already opened a number of other venues of different types aound town - anyone know the old queens head on essex road? Yup that's them too, along with another one in Clerekenwell... The way I see it is the team are just extending their roster of quality venues of different types around town, but Fabric for now will remain as the cash-cow and the focus of their brand...
Course that might change in the future, but by then they will have plenty of other venues to continue with...
