External Soundcards For Mac?

Just ordered a G5 and am looking for an external soundcard - any suggestions? my current one doesn't support osx and the majority I've had a look at don't seem to either - ideally I don't want to spend a fortune either..

To be honest I was hoping to spend around £40 - £50 tops but in all honesty quality is more important

lol I could of got an iMac, if I wanted to spend another 650 quid on a matching monitor....or I could of spent £1000 on a quad core and used the two 24" screens I already own.....


I'm willing to spend more on a soundcard, like I say, quality is more important, I'm only going on what I spent on my windows soundcard, which, going by your logic, cost a lot less then bigger brand ones and handled everything I threw at it..

I like my apogee one, but it's really for a super streamlined setup. Bonus that it works as a sick mic too.

why such and old mac? does it have really good specs?
