External Sound Card?

    I use an Imac so the only inputs/outputs I have are the normal headphone and mic ports.

    I was just wondering if you could buy an external sound card that had more inputs/outputs such as xlr ect.

    similar i think,

    I think an Mbox may do the trick, im not very knowledgable about such things.
    I use logic if that helps

    Mbox's are good, but if you want to carry on using logic theres not much point as with the Mbox your paying for Pro Tools as well as the interface.
