that's inherent in all samplers by their nature. if you play it lower than C3 or the samples native level, it will slow down to make it go that low, same with going higher, it will speed up.

not sure if you can get around that in any other way other than getting a new sample.
 
I too have found this to be true with any sample when you transpose to a higher note
Increasing the pitch of the sample will speed it up
 
there are time functions in some DAWS which allow you to stretch a sample without changing the pitch, you could then load each sample individually to each note you want to play...long way about it but only way that i know of.
 
is definitely possible, just gonna double check how its done

haha, i can't remember and i learned how by watching a youtube vid, but i can't find that either!!
