Evolution of intelligent / atmospheric drum and bass

Hello guys,

I am preparing small 'journey' (an article on our dnb music page) through time focusing on intelligent and atmospheric. It's almost impossible for me to find some relevant information (not counting basic facts), some detailed histogram let's say, how this flow evolved during the years...

Has somebody got good memory and can contribute in this matter? :)
