"The Third Birthday Bash"

Essence of Chi returns for it's second outing to Vauxhall's finest venue, Hidden, formerly known as the infamous Chunnel Club and Studio 33, for its Third Birthday Celebration on Saturday 4th August 2007.
Many of you will remember the roadblock affair that was EOC's Second Birthday at Hidden last year , preceded by their legendary First Birthday alongside London Zu at the Scala. Both we unforgettable parties that you will want to re-live, and for those that missed out , you won't want to miss out again. For this time, not only are EOC returning to Hidden with that unmistakable EOC party vibe and unbeatable dj and mc line up, but this time we are taking one of the best sound systems in dance music, Funktion One. Hidden will be fully kitted out with no less than 20K of booming Funktion One sound, EOC's favourite soundsystem, heard month in month out at our Plan B parties, and of course last years Carnival rinseout at Renegade Hardware & Valve at the Renaissance Rooms.
This year's Birthday extravaganza will feature 3 arenas full to the brim with the very best artists representing Drum n Bass, Old Skool Jungle and Nu Skool Breaks hosted by Pyroradio.com:
The EOC Drum n Bass arena will feature amongst others, performances by Ireland's finest producer Calibre from Soul:r & Signature records, scene stalwarts Total Science, 1Xtra's DJ Bailey, the fastest rising stars of d&b in the last 4 years, Artificial Intelligence and hotly tipped up and coming producer Dj Lynx, all hosted by the likes of the legendary Singing Fats, SP:MC, EOC founder MC LowQui, MC Five Alive and many more...
The Old Skool arena takes on a deeper slant as Essence of Old Skool presents "Deep in the Jungle" featuring sets from across the years 1993 to 1999 from the likes of Nicky Blackmarket, Original EOC resident DJ Kane, DJ A Sides and DJ Nookie with MC Justyce on mic duties amongst others.
The Nu Skool Breaks arena is hosted by the one of the best urban music stations on the web, Pyroradio.com with artists such as Atomic Hooligan, Control Z, Ed 209, Quest, Lockup, Whirley, all ably hosted by EOC favourite Ken Mac joined by Reload, Trouble and Incyte.
