DJ Marky & Makoto’s next single is due out in just a couple of weeks, and we’re giving you the chance to win an advance copy, direct from us! The competition closes tomorrow at midday 18th/Feb/2011 so enter as soon as possible!
After the stunning EP release that was “Rush Hour EP”, Innerground is happy to welcome back one of its favourite sons, Makoto.
Makoto is a veritable legend of the scene, not only in his native Japan, but across the globe. His ability to lend his skills to almost any kind of beat alongside any other producer is world class. It is alongside our very own DJ Marky that Makoto has found some of his best form, and we have encapsulated it here into one coherent and compelling vinyl vision.
The A-Side sees DJ Marky & Makoto team up to great effect in the shape of “Aquarius”. With the sultry vocals of Deeizm providing the perfect backing track to this upbeat yet mellow offering, this is a track that has endured the dancefloor test of time.
On the flip we have a solo effort from Japan’s finest, “Good Old Days”. The track has a sincere quality to it, with deep basslines and rolling beats encrusted with spatterings of sheer Makoto goodness.
Available as a 12” vinyl single and Digital Download from February 28th 2011.
To be in with a chance of winning an advance copy, just answer the simple question below and email us at calvin@innergroundmusic.com
Q: DJ MARKY has a nightclub residency in London, butwhich club is his UK home?
Alternatively you can also enter by “Liking” us on Facebook or signing up to the Innerground newsletter!

i dunno, i think i'd rather pay the £2 and definitely get a copy
than pin my hopes on correctly answering a poorly worded question.
