Friction recently announced that Enei is going to be releasing an LP titled 'Rituals' on Critical in November, here's the debut track he played:

Hope this LP will be as good as 'Machines'. :)

I recently purchased the 2x12" actually (shouts to Disturbd :p)

Now that I've given this tune a proper listen on headphones, it's pretty damn good.. hope the rest of the LP isn't like Goliath

Feeling really hyped for the LP after hearing this one out. Amazing stuff. Never been too keen on Machines as a whole tbh.

Looking forward to this! Goliath was a huge letdown for me, after Machines, and the Liberation and Stonehead EP's being so good. But the Inside the Box EP got me excited again and this album should be no exception.

Also this just reminded me about how gutted I was when Elephants never made any of the Machines vinyl presses....was the best tune of the lot for me too :/ Hope the same doesn't happen on this!

I think there will be a certain amount of mystery behind this release. As Rythmatix said he has experimented with quite a few different styles since his last album. Only time will tell what the album is made up of i guess, hopefully it has a little bit of everything.

I don't get the hate that the Goliath EP received. I personally loved it!

There was a clip hosted on vk floating around here of Enei playing a heavy tune that I hope is his and makes the LP.

Can anyone remember where that clip is/was posted?

Wait, there's hate on the Goliath EP? Anyone care to elaborate?
That trappy Get Low tune is not immediately my thing, but dropped in a club I can def appreciate that sub.

Anyways, on the LP, been excited for this one for a long time. I've heard an early version of a collab coming on the album and it was pretty big already.. yes yes hyped!

On Goliath, Hot Plate fucking kills it. Excited for this LP cos Enei is a don. Hoping for some experimental ticky ticky.

I think I know which one you're on about, that was an Enei & Mefjus collab which I also really hope is on the LP.

Yes! This and The Artefact were so big!

Yeah wasn't feeling it much at all. Get Low wasn't on the vinyl so can't comment much on that, Woodrunner was left off too and that was my favourite tune on the release.
Goliath and Prometheus promise so much in the buildup, then fall flat on the drop for me. The Artifact was catchy, and Hot Plate was my favourite on the vinyl, but overall it felt a little forced and wasn't what I love about Enei - catchy drums and sweet switchups. It was an experimental release for me, which I bought on wax but never played. Compared to how much I thrashed the other releases of his (and I own them ALL on vinyl).

Anyhow, each to their own. Don't think there will be too much debate on the new album, somehow
