If I went to Uni, I'd fuck it up, I'd spend too much time enjoying myself and not enough time studying.

    Not for me.

Regardless of whether youv got a degree or not, it does not mean shit in the real world. I mean uni is a good way to waste 3 years of your life having a good time, getting further 'education'. Does not mean when finished your going to be earning lots of money in a good job. i know plenty of people that have left with a masters degree and working in a dead end job at nero's.

    Not fot me either ;)

Not for me, got a better job now than i would have if i went to uni, got in debt, didnt get anything and had a alcohol problem, not to mention smoking copious amount of mary jane.

Im 19 id prefer to have money to go out on the piss at the weekends. Everyone to their own.

Yeh, I got a job at 17 which I've been in three years, which probably is a better wage than most people who go to uni get.

Especially considering I'm 20 and earnt over £100k so far.

its depends what your studying ... i know 3 people studying Marine Biology .. i mean wtf ?? they are blatently just gunna end up working in a bank or something .. i did a Hospitality Management Degree , quit after a year after getting my second year student loan .. point was, no restaurant/hotel really gives flying fuck bout a degree youve got , they want experience and to see where youve worked ... not some paperwork tht shows youve doing a few essays ..

some degrees will basically get you knowhere .. and some are ideal, you have to train specialist subjects for specific carreers, not some fucked up vague one that when you leave your just gunna end up shelf stackin

im think of going to uni after ive done my 2 years of a level and maybe a gap year

reason im going to uni is partly for a potential degree in something but im mainly going for the experience, i know that i will learn alot there, not just about my chosn subject, but about myself and what i want in life, more than i ever will trying to get a job now!

I'm not one to talk, but where I work now as a manager, most of the staff working for £6.55 an hr (and those applying for those jobs) have got degrees.

Enjoy it while you can. Suits some people, not others. Know plenty ppl who left school, started working and did v.well.

    :)
