To the bandwagon!
"Your social network is owned by advertisers.
Every post you share, every friend you make and every link you follow is tracked, recorded and converted into data. Advertisers buy your data so they can show you more ads. You are the product that’s bought and sold.
We believe there is a better way. We believe in audacity. We believe in beauty, simplicity and transparency. We believe that the people who make things and the people who use them should be in partnership.
We believe a social network can be a tool for empowerment. Not a tool to deceive, coerce and manipulate — but a place to connect, create and celebrate life.
You are not a product."
My problem with social networks isn't the advertising or what they do with data about me, it's just with the socialising
Just use adblockers ffs
Why is it getting so hyped? I mean who's behind all that and pays so much money for this whole project?

shut up andrew. Shatner's Bosom, you got an account? send me an invite, would you
reminds me of google + that never took off
or this one - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diaspora_(social_network)
never even heard of that
no no, this is the one, eloo.nz is going to be the one
Got an invite for that but what the hell are you going to do on a site where none of your contacts is signed up.
Does dnbforum count as a social network? Or what about all the other dnb sites. What's the problem?
I do admit though, dnbforum is very easy to create an account and the sites layout and features are AWESOME. I tried to get on some others but it took a little more effort so since this site is so great I just decided to stick around here. Sooner or later I'll have the ability to focus on learning production, but for now yeah socializing is a good step one.
Shawn, have you ever tried Jump Up?
Maybe that cures your enthusiasm
