This is a Horo label showcase mix, which features selections from our x9 Vinyl only releases, the ‘Scope’ LP and some forthcoming Horo music for 2014. I wanted to fit in as many different styles as possible from the Horo sound. I also tried to include everyone that has helped shape what Horo sounds like, both now and into the future. It’s not my idea to play favourites at all but there is a definite strain from people like ASC, Sam KDC, Fis, Kiyoko, Indigo, Clarity and now Ena where the music they have offered me for Horo has been like a sonic building block that inspires me and in turn other artists that come to me with music for Horo. This mix also introduces 2 new names that haven’t been heard as yet who you will hear more of in the future – ‘Theme‘ & ‘Carrier One‘. The mix was put together live from my home here in grey Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin with the assistance of Serato and good coffee.
