It's not all garage. Just bridging the gap between dubstep, house & garage.

D&B is, has and always will be my main love. But this stuff is much more exciting for me at the moment.

Blawan is my pick of the crop at the moment, makes some serious bass heavy stuff, you really need to have a good system to enjoy these

Also a guy called Thundercat is one to watch, he's the bass player for Flying Lotus's live show, makes more experimental stuff

    Gold Panda is awesome too,

JUJ is a beatmaker i really like, short soul filled stuff

Too many to mention, Also Mary Anne Hobbs has a new show on XFM which is real nice, think its saturday evening, its worth a listen, ill post links to d/l it when they appear

Lovin this sound at the mo just seems more uplifting then what you can find at 170+ bpm. Not to mention this type of music is incredibly fun to make!

Toejam ruined this thread for me....

I was getting into this stuff. Then he posted that Hip Hop beat. Now I gotta listen to soul sampled Hip Hop instrumentals instead!

On a side note, check out the tune in my sig!
