EDISON troubles

This is probably the seventh time after restarting the computer that this happened.

Whenever I drag a sample from EDISON onto FL studio's playlist, the mouse just stays on the symbol saying that it's moving the sample and I can't do anything after that. FL Studio didn't freeze. I know that because it can still play fine when I press space bar. But it's like EDISON just drops dead right as I drop my samples onto the playlist. It forces me to shut down FL studio after that. AND THEN Fl studio crashes.

Is this a bug in the program?

How do I fix this?

the far right button in edison, "send to playlist as audio clip", should work.

I just figured it out.

I apparently wasn't running as the admin on my computer.
