    Not bad! I think the vocals could come down ever so slightly in the mix in the beginning of the tune and then a bit louder once the full bass kicks in at 1:28–here, the vocal and bassline are competing with one another just a bit. I gotta say though, the tune really sounds great with this vocal.

    I think the snare sounds a bit dry, otherwise its really good!

    yeah I definitely agree! the reason for the clashing and lower level for the vocal from 1.28 onwards is due to which bits of the vocal from the original song I sampled. that particular section of the vocal contains a guitar in the background of the original song which would overpower the breaks and just sound out of place if I raised the level even more to bring out the vocals further...tried gating etc, but the level of the vocal and guitar were too similar for it to be effective :\ wish I'd had the proper acapella to work with haha!
