Ed Rush and Optical have teamed up with Matrix, MC Ryme Tyme, and rock vocalist Louis Smith to create a new live project. They will be performing tracks from their ‘Chameleon’ album due for release on October 23rd also other new tracks including ‘perfect drug’ and ‘DNA’ which I set for release as VRS018 on the 16th of October.
Alongside tracks like 'Perfect Drug', 'Test Tube' and 'Cyberskin' in true Virus tradition, ‘Chameleon’ explores rockier territories with 'Flight To Nashville' and 'Bloodmoney' where guitar riffs work to perfection alongside heavy breaks to create an unstoppable dynamic. The frequent use of vocals help take 'Chameleon' to the next level, with songs like 'Lust', 'Alien', ‘DNA’ or 'Animal', sounding like a rawer, heavier Prodigy-meet-Kasabian.
