who wears em??? who dont ??
goin ministry friday valves there
i'd reccomend it for valve, for sure. i think they'll probably dish out free ones on the door.
expect last time i remember myself getting fucked off with them, ans taking them off.
then getting outside in the morning and all i could hear was WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
pretty intense. you don't realise how bad it is til you step outside.
been all out raving for about 2 years and recently brought decks n started mixing. i think im starting to loose my hearing, so my advice woulld be a yes.
my hearing was like that after i left my local club last saturday when i saw hazard.
it doesnt take a lot....
yeah, i get it from time to time, for a few hours after a rave.
but not for 2 days straight.
yea i rekon my ears are on there way out already so i fought id get some for friday
fukin £20 but its your ears at the end of the day
what is wrong with you only high freqencies can damage ears. they do not setup up the rigg so it will damage peoples ears
ive heard it a few times once in its full capasity at a TOV vs VALVE sound calsh it was heavy but theres diffinatly no need for ear plugs
my ears are pretty fucked after 12 years of non stop music and mixing but i got the custom elacin ones done last year which were £160 but well worth it, take some getting used to and when mixing the moniters need to be loud so are no good for bedroom use but for clubs they are wicked.
in the end / ministry etc and on valve they make the sound clearer too
get earplugs. mates got tinnutus and says its horrible. cant get to sleep with a constant ringing in his ears
My mate's got it to... I wudnt want that...
I went for the first hour or so at Valve without, but put them in half way... best thing i did!!!
earplugs at raves never heard of it sum1 wanna fill me in on what ur on about ?? lol
Lol this thread suprised me, i thought i was the only one
Dude my hearing is FUUUUUUCCKKED
My monitor ear (one i dont wear phones on) is screwed big-time from these past 2 years mixing, and the endless gigs/raves ive been to over the years have only contributed to it, not to mention the factory i worked in when i left school was loud as fuck and we had to wear earphones standard, but bieng the rebelious person i was i declined RAARRR.
I seen some earlier real cheap, think it was on breakbeat.co.uk>shop>merchandise.
when i seen them i was like LOOOOL what fag wud wear them to a rave, how ironic people actually do, and at end of day fuck yeah man its your hearing at end of day, i mean im not one to talk with the amount of shit i swallow at raves but thats different
Valve will fucking ruin your ears completely mate. Wear 'em if you don't want everyone to sound like the chipmunks the next day.
every time you hear ringing in your ears you'll never be able to hear that frequency again. if i ain't wearing earplugs at a rave then i'm stood as far away fro the speakers as i can get!
the 2 valve gigs ive been to, they give out ear plugs for free and theres posters recomending you wear them, i didn't cos i was mainley at the back or by the bar not standing in front of the speakers all night, if your at the front I'd defo wear them-only for valve though, or if you go out every weekend and allways stand at the front - Dont wanna end up like the guy from all gone pete tong
they don't even play the valve to it's full potential anymore, so my advice... if you wanna look like a pooftah wear earplugs. but what's the point of going to listen to one of the best dnb sound systems and then sticking some muffling devices in your ears? ridiculous* it would be like going to the best cinema in the world and watching the film through a pair of coke bottle glasses.
so you don't fuck up your ears?
