Got sent a tune from backdrop promotions mailing list, is it ok to put in a mix on here before general release?

probably be best to ask the promotion company, also how did you get on their mailing list?

If you have been sent it from a legit company then I don't see why not.

why else would they send it.....they wouldnt send a dub and say dont play it until its released...otherwise they may as well just wait until its released and make you buy it

Playing an unreleased tune out or on the radio is a bit different to putting it in a recorded mix and pushing it online, I thought..

emailed them, address is on the website somewhere

That is unless it's a version with the vocals dubbed out so that jimixyz's mates can toast over it and big up his sound?!

Maybe you'd like to explain what question you had relating to dubplates?
