DUB FOUNDATION SOUND

hi was wondering if anyone could help me with 2 things:

in the song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAHBOolUAVg&feature=related
im finding it difficult to master the hi-hats like dub foundation in terms of placement.

and in the song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBf2yapf0qU
i would find it incredible if anyone can help me with the bassline for the first drop (0:45).
and also for the little bridge around (1:05)

i use logic pro and massive (native instruments) and albino (rob papen)

any ideas?

Top is kick then snare. Alternatively like in the intro 2 different hats.
Second row should be a hat (preferably longer than the one I've chopped in)
Third row is shuffle. (one hat then another very quickly).

The shuffle is ducked/sidechained on the kick and the snare.
