    hmmm... not sure whats more annoying, 'drumstep' or threads about it?

    sorry to be a negative nancy... but there are loadsa posts bout this and they all end in the same boring debate!

    I don't understand this Drumstep thing.. I mean to me it just sounds like Jump UP Drum and Bass with a halftime drum pattern. it can't be a mix of DnB and Dubstep because Dubstep got most of its wobble basslines from Jump Up DnB in the first place. Drumstep is dumb

    Only drumstep tune that even comes close to decent is Heist - I Need Killers.

    i liked the bassnectar remix of rollz tune and the everyday netsky remix. apart from that most of it is just wobbles with half time drums - and there been more than enough wobbles before..

    Drumstep is not even a genre in my opinion, producers were making half time dnb long before this whole brostep/drumstep craze came in. It's just coined too much by Skrillex/Datsik etc fan kids.
