Drum breaks alright to use in a competition?

Hi, I'm doing a remix competition at the moment.
Obviously, it states the fact that you can't use copyrighted samples - if you win, the remix becomes an official release.

The breaks I've been using for the remix are from the essential breaks pack that I got here on the forum last year.

In the track I've used three different breaks from the pack, and I'm wondering weather that's alright with the whole copyright thing.
I'm fuzzy on what's able to be used, just was hoping for someone to clear it up.

Thanks.

if the samples are royalty free your good to go
try an find the page you got the samples from to check

Yeah, it was from the D'n'B essentials pack here on the forum.

it was a pack that contained the classic breaks, about 40 of them, (think break, amen, Apache)

Thanks for the replies.
