check any of the progression session cd's on good looking for truly great Mcing. the breakbeat kaos cd features GQ, and you soemtimes getv free |cds with knowledge or ATm with MC ing on. The frenzic /fearless one from acouple fo years ago is rather special!

u dont want skibba on a cd, trust! he sounds a bit crap most of the time and i dont think u can get any proper cd albums with him on.

(there is a reason for this!)

he has an album out soon tho ...but i would be suprised if its any good...

check out Dynamtie Mc's album...its more than just dnb and is fukin excellent!

You'll be best off looking for tape/cd packs from all the commercial events like Slammin, One Nation, Accelerated Culture etc etc. They usually have twice as many MCs as DJs on their line ups, and a lot of them are starting to sell cds as well as tapes. Also look out for MC Convention packs, should be right up your street, if no-one elses.

However, if you have any interest in the actual music, then Id recommend the new Zinc & Friction cd, which has both Eksman and SP.

Cheers, where can i get the good looking and progression cds from? Have u heard Mc Conrad? is he any good?

Conrad is an amazing mc, but if your into the Skiba-style MC'ing then he may not be your sort of thing. He's more of a host MC that compliments the music, rather than a crowd-hyping MC like Skibba, Eksman etc.

As for where to get the cds.... :google:

If you want one with Skibadee there's a Kool FM one called something like 'Kool FM presents The Fever'

Got him & Fearless on. Good if you like that sort of thing, it was from back when Skibadee was at his best

cheers, could u please give me names of mcs that have a similar style to skibadee and where i might purchase there cds from.

Hi All this is my first waffle on this forum, so bear with me all - New game and all that jazz.

Just a quick question - WHY ON EARTH DO YOU WANT TO LISTEN TO THE MCS JIBBERING OVER THE TOP OF THE TUNES??????

Bring back the MC free zone and let the producers and DJs do the talking!!!!!

fair play if you dont like em, but MCs have always been part of jungle culture and many people enjoy them. Not sure what you mean by 'bring back the MC free zone'.
Some like to get hyped at raves, others just enjoy hearing good rhymes. I am one of the latter

I believe this CD with Zinc, Friction, SP and Eksman sounds sick, as the rhymes are hopefully more considered and less ranting, not that SP and eksman are shabby normally.

p.s.

The no MC thing........erm..........

Ok there is large connection with MCs and DnB.

But i like and mix all types of dance music from early to modern house and garage, jungle to DnB, old skool to breaks and beats.

I have always generally prefered the nights that have had lack of MC.

But if i have to listen to an MC it should be one who is in the rythum and time. After all it is harder to put lyrics to a track than it is to put a track to lyrics.

mixed live: moonshine over america
ak1200 & mc navigator in San Francisco(it was actually Oakland)
You will be able to find this in most records stores in America, and if your not here in the states try moonshine records web site thay should be selling copies.

check out the new Knowledge mag free CD thats ok... thats MC Verse and Wiuldchild..
you can get Progression Sessions from HMV etc.

check the latest bingo CD (friction and Zinc with EKsman) eksman is like skibba only much better!!!!! and he comes across really well on CD...as his little stint on Radio 1xtra the other night proves!!

people like skibba/shabba are great in a live situatiojn but on record/cd e3tc they sound s bit shite! and dated and fight the music rather than flow with it. imo.
:boxing:

if u like that style tho i would recomend Fearless as he is better imo. than Skibs or Shabs.

or check out the CD with the mixologists on from Knowledge mag (a few months back see there website) that is good and features jungle drummer, mixologists, mc trip (i used to go to the same college as him) and killa kella! thats entertaining!

if your still avin trobs findin suitable sets maybe try sum p2p networks live kazaa overnet or soulseeek to name a few and type in your preferred mcs name into the audio search this should bring u alot of sets and music that feature mcs and the best ting of all its freeeeeee... :applause: kiss me :teeth:
