Bristol DJ Competition

DRIVE BY and MOVEMENT DJ Competition in association with VESTAX.
Open to anyone, the prizes on offer are truly class.
1st Prize includes:

- A prime-time DJ slot at a future DRIVE BY and MOVEMENT event
- A VESTAX PMC-37pro Mixer (worth £1,000!)
- A VESTAX record bag
- A pair of VESTAX slipmatts
- DRIVE BY merchandise
- A 1 Year MOVEMENT and DRIVE BY membership

PLUS! The winner of the competition will spend a year representing D&B/Jungle for VESTAX in the UK as an OFFICIAL ENDORSEE! That is not all, this room will be hosted by the one-man showboat that is the MOBO Award-winning DJ SWING! Phew!

HOW TO ENTER:
1. Record a 60 minute mix CD only - no exceptions.
2. Write your DJ Name, Real Name, Address, Email and Contact
Number clearly ON THE CD AND ON A SEPARATE PIECE OF PAPER and
put these into an envelope.
3. Send it to: Drive By & Movement VESTAX DJ Competition,
Bristol Academy, Frogmore Street, Bristol. BS1.
4. Do this by 6pm on Friday 7th February 2003.
5. Good luck!
6. If you are lucky then you will go through to the final where
all competitors will compete on PDX-2000 turntables and the
PMC-37P mixer. No exceptions.

Dear DJ,

Thank you for taking the time to enter the DRIVE BY DJ Competition staged in
association with Vestax. The standard of entrants overall was very high,
with near on 100 applicants, making it a very hard decision to choose the
seven finalists.

I'm afraid that you weren't one of the seven finalists this time. Keep
practicing, as we will be staging regular competitions.

We do appreciate all entries and the time and effort that go into them. If
you would like to come and watch the DRIVE BY DJ competition in association
with Vestax, email or call me, and I will sort you out a half price guest
list. Hope you can make it.
