Floor shaking, ground breaking Dr Meaker bring together Bristols finest musicians into a rip roaring, soulful, live Drum and Bass assault on the senses.
Dr Meaker & his 9 piece band have played at renowned events such as Glastonbury Festival 2007, Bestival and Ashton Court Festival as well as at legendary clubs throughout the world. They also entertain their Bristol homecrowd regularly, gaining a sought-after reputation for getting the crowd bouncing and grinding. Meaker with their ruff-cut bass licks, sublime vocals and sweet rhythms are poised to infect the UK and beyond with their pulsating start-to-finish live set.
Dr Meaker are receiving airplay from the UK’s major radio stations including BBC Radio 1 (Zane Lowe, Rob Da bank), BBC1Xtra, Ministry of sound as well as at campus radio stations as far beyond as Canada and New Zealand. Dr Meaker have also just competed and won the Glastonbury Festival 2007 emerging talent comptetition, BBC new urban talent award (Sponsored by Fame Academy), and also the BBC unsigned gods of the pods.
Dr Meaker are one of UK’s best up and coming soul / dance acts, with a following that grows larger every day, hungry for the rawness that only Dr Meaker prescribes.
They are currently working on a debut album in collaboration with legends such as Howie B, Massive Attack collaborators and a whole host of new, fresh talent.

Fronted by singer songwriter Colleen Quinn the band combines live Double bass (Ben the Bass), Drums & percussion (Jago), Synths scratching & fx (Dj Formula) and new edition of Trumpet.
Having performed at festivals and clubs around the Southwest, including 2 years @Bristol's Ashton Court festival, The Formula fuse hypnotic vocals, heavy bass lines & beats into a unique performance, fast becoming one of Bristol's best live electronic acts...

DJ FIERCE (QUARANTINE)
In-Session are very proud to welcome Dj Fierce back onboard, this time at In-Sessions' new venue the Croft. The Quarantine head honcho and drum & bass legend will be serving up his usual expert mixing and edgy selection for the In-Session massive!
Fierce has been at the forefront of the drum & bass scene since the mid 1990s, starting with his early excursions at No U-Turn from the tender age of 16 to his involvement in some of the scene's seminal musical moments such as 'Alien Girl', 'Locust', 'The End' and 'Tightrope' on prestigious labels including Prototype, Metro, Virus, Ram, BC, DSCi4 and 31 Records.
As well as bringing his undoubted skills to the table on the production front, Fierce has long been known as one of the most exciting and energetic DJs around, widely respected by both his peers and drum & bass fans alike. Still harbouring an insatiable love for dubplates and vinyl ahead of MP3s and CDs, Fierce really is a DJs' DJ, bringing sounds from across the spectrum and uniquely fusing tracks together in the mix to create a new and fresh sound every time.

Female Dj Legend and In-Session regular Dj Dazee is back for another heavy weight In-Session rinse out!!!.......we love Dazee!
Coming to the scene in the days of free parties and warehouse raves, Dazee has been flying the flag of jungle music since it began.' Jungle', 'drum and bass', 'dnb', whatever you call it now ... she's still flying that flag! Dazee began her professional DJing career in 1992 and a year later founded the now legendary Ruffneck Ting alongside Markee (Kosheen) and Rachel and Colin (Knowledge magazine). When Ruffneck Ting started a record label in 1995, Dazee exercised her production skills both as a solo artist and with Markee, as Substance, releasing dance floor smashes such as 'Damn Right' and 'Prisoner'. Her exceptional ability took her to every party that mattered – Universe, Dreamscape, Helter Skelter and World Dance. Soon she was juggling a busy international schedule playing gigs from Sweden to San Fransisco and nearly everywhere in between. But the road to success wasn't easy as she explains: “Back in the day I was on a mission, dnb had to be heard, I had a campaign I was practically a jungle Jehovah's witness!” Dazee also took her crusade to the airwaves. Her reputation grew in Bristol with a weekly show alongside MC Jakes on Ragga FM, Bristol's number one pirate station. She went on to perform three times on Radio 1's 'One in the jungle' and played on various commercial radio stations worldwide
