Over the past few months we've experienced some downtime, generally only for short periods at a time, but it has been happening.
Last week we moved the web site to a new server and we now have a greater idea of resource usage which helps to identify what causes the downtime.
Last night we had our first downtime on the new server and it was a memory problem that caused it. I've been advised that its most likely an issue with the plugins we're currently using with vBulletin, one of these being the ChatBox. So when we next experience downtime I'm going to disable a few of the plugins and monitor the difference it makes.
I'm posting up this message to alert you that you might see some of the plugins we're currently using disappear for a short time while I investigate.
