Aliens is so sick. That tune was originally slated for Metalheadz around 96. Dom's sound from around that time was amazing. Hopefully this will be the first of several releases, with some Dom & Optical tunes mixed in...

Gold limited edition vinyl "Dubs from the Dungeons" Release. Two exclusive highly sought after tracks from the days of "blue note", originally destined to be Metalheadz releases back in the 90's. These iconic classics finally see the light of day!
Also he's on DOA and says this:
You'll be able to pre-order Aliens 1997 / Zodiak 1996 on boutique quality clear vinyl very shortly, release on march 3rd :)

There will be subsequent limited run techstep releases each month after that until i have exhausted my arsenal :)

How can it be better than perfect?
The album was far from perfect imo. I know most of the headz were digging it, personally I find most of the album pretty boring after a few listens. Sirens Song on the other hand is a masterpiece. This single is heavy, too.

One of the reasons I rate his album as the best of 2016 is that when viewed in its entirety its emits a vibe that I believe hasn't been around since the late 90's. It's a proper album, rather than just a collection of tracks. It is basically the essence of Dom himself, it seems to me that he's put his all into it without a single exception. I guess it rings true with me, which is a rarity in jungle/dnb these days. He truely captured something many of us have been missing which I think is one of the many reasons it's been so well received. It's very much subjective depending on what styles you're into, but if it's your thing it's like catching up with an old friend who you haven't seen in a very very long time, but yet it feels like it was yesterday.
