Does someone feel something weird in this tune?

    ... a bit overwidened perhaps??
Huge sound, but switch the playback back to mono... suddenly the sub disappear and the rms of the tune drop of more than 3db!
Also, load of the nice morphings on the samples they just die into the phase cancellation.
Good example on how careless of freq splitting/monoizing/widening will influence the mix of a tune.

    Huge sound, but ephemeral.

It's pretty fat, but it does sound pretty good. I'll check out more from this artist, that's certain. Maybe they have too many elements sitting too close on the frequency range too? Dunno, but something in there *does* sound like it aughta been passed a little higher, that deep scratching dog-like sound is what it is.

to me the high freqs sound boosted like hell, also the kick is like stereo'd to a level ive never heard (in a dnb-tune) ^^

Lol they must have just found out what sample delay, stereo spread and the direction mixer do and went into overkill.

Amazing producer usually, some of his others tunes are huge.
From what I read on facebook atleast he experimented with a widening and panning the sub I believe, which makes zero sense.

But that he experiments like crazy makes him one of the more interesting producers out there right now atleast.

Having a sub in stereo is okay I suppose if its just going to be played on a hifi but in a club it is illogical. If it was scheduled for vinyl release he would be lynched if the master engineer didn't make sure that the low end was in mono.

There are far more interesting ways to experiment.
I do like the track though.
