Does anyone have google chrome?

    Answer me this.

    I have one window with one tab open. Why are there 4 applications of it in task manager? All about 40 mb.....

    Whichever one I close, it closes all. What's that about?

    Yup I've also noticed this. No idea why it does it.

    I think it might be to do with how many core CPUs your computer has?

    No, Internet Explorer doesn't open loads.

    But the one page it opens is sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.

    Hence why I stopped.

    I use opera and don't have this problem. I am also not a renty man or welsh.

    I am starting to notice a trend here....

    IE has more security flaws than Sony, I would recommend changing to any other browser!

    Yeah, I mainly use FF too, so I can't answer your question!

    But I opened Chrome and then task manager and same thing happening here. Dunno why.

    Did a quick google search

    Chrome itself = 1 process, then another process for every tab open and for every chrome extension. So chrome open with 4 tabs and 2 extensions will show 7 processes. This is so it can be spread across multi-core CPUs and therefore run faster. Apparently.
