do your tracks sounds EXACTLY the same after exporting?

Sadly yes. My tracks sound just as shit after I export them.
Which is a problem. Someone once said if there was a problem Yo he would solve it. But sadly I am still waiting. Much like my dreams, my problems go unanswered. Which is why DW's new EP is called Problems. He or she, it or them are still waiting for a vanilla choc ice. Which is fine, just fine mostly. You expect to wait for a choc ice in summer but its almost winter (location depending) and there shouldn't be much of a queue.
I guess what I'm getting at is, most people have herpes. If you think you don't you probably do. I'm pretty sure I caught them from this thread.

right .. to put this nonsense discussion to a final end. I had a longtime member of this esteemed forum and successful producer contact me on this in NOV -- for the obvious reasons he doesn't want to be mentioned here by name, fully understandable considering the shit going on in this forum.

its seems he used to have a similar track export issue and advised me on various parts of equipment I use and how it can interfere during track bounce. as a result, I got some new hard&software and finally got rid of the issue. THANKS SO MUCH mate .. and no worries, I won't mention your name.

so ... you crap idiots that advise bullshit unrelated to topic (placebo), dutch wank-off jerks who think pleasing mods will bring them ahead in this forum, super-smart non-sense mods who produce fake IP proof, or low-IQ racist mods .. the list is long ... u all know who is meant.

Just wanted to add I've spent hours going through a very similar situation which I never noticed until yesterday, but finally figured it out. The whole time I've ever played music in any player I never noticed that the sound was being boosted in some way and it became noticeable when playing my track through the crappy laptop speakers.

It wasn't down to the music player itself or even going into the standard windows audio interface, but rather the hidden Realtek control surface linked to Bang and Olufsen which has had an audio setting alteration switched on it the whole time, which then gets bypassed when working in my DAW. Simply turning it off solved the problem but I had to look for it as I think I might have removed the icon which did used to be in the corner section but was never touched. It was driving me mad. I can't believe I never noticed it until now.

On second thoughts, it may be because I usually use my soundcard to listen through which might also bypass this feature but I'm not sure as I didn't test the B&O interface yet while playing audio in a player.

[Edit]
Tried it back home on my soundcard and it turns out that the effects are bypassed, so this issue would have been only through the laptop speakers and therefore I never noticed it before.

I had such problems too. What helped me was put down the latency as much as you can before rendering. And double check if the eq and fx for your soundcard in windows are turned off because the asio driver doesen`t use the fx but if you listen to a mp3 for example on your media player i does

Was that a name drop without actually mentioning the name... double gay!

Seriously though it’s a new year with new hopes n dreams. Anything decent been made?

Also the numbers don’t lie.

I also experience a similar problem and I too use ableton with ozone on master. I always thought it was my crappy mixing skills (probably still is). I can have something sounding great in the DAW but as soon as I bounce it sounds dull and lifeless regardless of the quality or the format that I bounce it to.

since i switched to PSP's Xenon as my limiter (and Reason as my DAW) i no longer have these problems.
now uploads to soundcloud on the other hand.....

I've never experienced this with either Live 3.04 or Cubase SE. My sound card is a Delta Audio 44. Windows XP w/SP 2. Also, I always rendered at 44.1/16.
