Pedestrian is a not-for-profit education arts organisation based in Leicester but working all over the UK.

We are currently seeking freelance individuals who feel they have the skills required to teach young people in turntablism workshops.

Please check out www.pedestrian.info for some more detail on us.

The role will require you to have a CRB check, but we can help you get that sorted. All I'm really after is people who see the benefit of working with music and young people. This type of learning can engage young people when they have little or no other sources of education.. as lets be honest, mainstream education isn't for everyone.

If you think you have the passion for music and helping young people required, get in touch..

yeh i could..... really like helping new peeps out... pitty its in Leicester...

Yeah it's a shame isn't it, this sounds like a really great initiative that I'd happily give up some of my time for, also I really enjoy spending time with young people (no, not like that before anyone says)

If anyone knows of a scheme like this in London I'd love to hear about it!
