Easy Y'all.. Thinking about putting on a night in Shepperds Bush on a thursday, But was wondering if people still go out during the week. I go out every now and then for big gigs or something like that. Is this how most people are or do you find that the better nights are actually on week nights... Thoughts PLESH
fair do's the club is open till 1 on week days so it wouldn't be a long'n plus bus routes and tubes from bush take you pretty much in any direction
are you being serious?! i go out almost everyday of the week... except friday cos im so fucked from thursday morning i only get up on saturday
there are some promoters here in watford that put on nights on a thursday, pull in some big names and a decent crowd. haven't been to one of their nights yet though...DnB has a habit of attracting the dickheads in this town.
yeah man, i've been working long hours up untill now and the thought of clubbing and having to get up for the next day... well it just didnt appeal to me.. Used to go out loads but age and career have caught up... Lol i'm only 24, but still... Just want thoughts as I thought this could be a good idea, as the venue holds 200 heads, has a audio engineer present through out the night and is cheap for drinks etc.
i hit it as many days as i can, but i'm an alcoholic.....with more money than sense, i'm 30 soon, probably nearing the end.
thats what i thought, Probably wont be a dnb night as i want to get a more diverse crowd in than just 170 bpm headz..
nice this is what i like to hear.... do you usually go to free entry nights or are you not put off by paying? I'm thinking £7 entry etc. coz were getting some good dj's on board
are you back in uni then karen? or something? its for young people with a deathwish basically, theres a night on mondays in redlight that i love but havent been to for aaaaaages. cos im old, really old
i'd prefer free but if it had a semi decent lineup i wouldn't pay more than 10 bucks entry on a weeknight.
this is a good point. I'd pay entry cos im old. if you asked me when I was 20, I'd probably only go to free shit.
Students are to key to nights in the week imo. Canterbury has a large 'thursday night' scene, but then it has a few colleges and a few universities. As for entry price, I don't really know, £7 seems like a fair bit to pay to go out on a thursday, but I'm not sure if it is just generally more expensive in London as everything else seems to be.
