DEEP & SHAFIE BIO
Deep & Shafie aka Matt Bere and Tyrone Shafie are based in Bourenmouth on the south coast .. Having met in around 98 /99 after playing along side each other at the local nights around Bourenmouth they finally made the move to start working on tracks together . At the time Shafie was the sound engineer @ Dreamscape studios and Matt was the manager @ Destiny Records ..
After trying a few differnet programs it wasn't till about 2005 when they moved to logic that things started to fit into place ..
After sending out demos to a few people it was a file sent over to the Ram / Frequency camp that got them thier first release on Frequency Recordings which is sister label to the mighty Ram Records .. The track was 'Deeper' which was followed up by ' Prepare' on the b'side (FQY 033 )..
Now working on fresh material for Frequency plus some collab's with some different producers this year keep you eyes peeld for more release on Frequency in the future ..

DEXCELL BIO
Dexcell are a trio of dnb producers who come from Watford. Members are Trak D, $lick & $marty. They have been producing together for over 3 years. They first met whilst working in a record shop in Watford. All three shared a passion for music production and dnb. So they decided to form Dexcell.
With the three totally different musical backgrounds, they found that they would be able to bring different ideas to the table and be able to switch up their sound. Dexcell produce all sorts of dnb, from chilled out liquid, to the more techy stuff. They prefer to be not labelled under one genre of drum & bass.

Nice little podcast.. was really surprised with the Dexcell stuff thought that was quite fresh... also really liked Black Creator alot.

The Deep & Shafie mix was exactly what I'd have wanted to have heard, tight mixing and excellent selection.

Really enjoyed it, will certainly be catching the next podcast.

Late Nights VIP, want
