Who's got one?

What you you have done and where?

I'm personally thinking about getting one done in the near future, cos I see it like this...

Most things come and go, but if ya truly love DnB, then it's for life...

Innit?

Don't do it.

For the same reason you may really really love your girlfriend, you may really really love Tottenham, you may really really love cute butterflies, getting a tattoo that connects you with something that is important in your life but will definitely change is a bad idea. Music is not static and neither are your feelings for it. Dnb was borne of evolution and will evolve into something else.

Otherwise your kiddies may ask you in 20 years time why their bank manager dad has "DNB FOR EVER!" and a the breakneck logo on his fat tummy - then you have to explain that dnb is this music that daddy used to listen to but then it changed into techpop which in turn turned into nuclassicnukerock which turned into nanobreakpunk.

You express your love of dnb enough by organising your parties, playing your records and wearing your clothes. You don't have to irreversibly brand yourself.

That said, a temporary tatoo is not a bad idea but they're expensive

Maybe, & I agree with lots of that...

but, I'm personally goin thru some big life changes at the mo'...

If I did get one done it'd be less about expressing love for DnB, and more about positive & constant things in my life at this time and place...

I ain't gonna rush into anything silly.

(y)

and it wouldn't be on my fat tummy either...

;)

But! I did see a man working the ticket office at the station with a faded 'TOYAH' logo tattooed on his bicep, & I thought that was cool!

I agree it may be an error, but I also think that any tattoo is a mark of where you are at that time and place, and can always be appreciated outisde that time and place.
I know a guy who got a wicked Cypress Hill tat in 92, bit out of place now, but they meant something to him so he may still be just fine with the tat. Your body is your body and you should remember you are the one who has to live with it, no one else.
That could be an argument for or against any sort of tattoo. I dont have one, but have always fancied it.

@Fes, those two logos are def the coolest artwork in dnb for a tattoo. there are probably some overlooked gems out there though

The Headz graphic is so good that even if you stop listening to dnb, it won't be an embarrassment. Its a beautiful piece of art.

Tattooing "Current Value" or "Dnb forever" on your ass on the other hand, is not so good an idea.

Some people might say the same about the Breakneck logo!

Well I might...

(& which was also designed by one of the founding promoters, with some input by my goodself.)

Ha!

:2thumbs:

But then?

DNB Forever & a Tru Playaz logo on my ass?

One on each cheek...

That's a good look!

The Breakneck logo is legendary! I think you and Owain need to get that done, even if Breakneck ends, it's always going to be a quality memory for you both!

I am seriously thinking about it...

If Owain does it, that's upto him.

&

I do think some of the Breakneck regulars / long termers might get tempted if / when they see it immortalised.
