oye mates.. been pondering this for quite some time now...

What kind of clothing would you say identify the DnB music?
Im not sure im putting this right, but let me give this scenario to exemplify.

If you were to see a bloke on the metro for example, what would give him away for being a dnbhead?

My idea of a typical dnb clothing gotta be something like this.
    Underground written all over it...

DnB isnt really a big genre over here, so there is not certain style... sometimes u see some wanker with that "I *heart* NY" ripoff "I *heart* DNB".

Anyways, enlighten me. Im coming to London for hospitality in sep so figured i do some proper shoping then :rinsed:
haha, btw its no to be a total poser, i just genuinly like the style...
    cheers 8)

i dont thinkthere is a set style for dnb, its what ever your feelin, but having said this i think the image most outsiders get of a DnB head would be a right a little scumbag, Nu-Era hat pulled down to your eyebrows, tracksuit bottoms and a pair of Nikes. Up for a paint when your over?

It's not hugely different to how a Hip Hop head would dress.

Love this - totally seen these scally's around Greater Manchester - sounds a bit sad but I'm a sucker for the big phat pants, plain jean type ones not the psy-trance bastards with reflective hoo-haa all over them. Trainers, pref. white with no laces showing, and a tank top. hmm... whatever floats your boat hey - make sure you go to Fabric, such good times!!

Tbh I'd say its a mixed crowd around Manchester, you get your skaters, scallies, hip hop, and pretty boys at dnb nights around here.

I think the idea i got of it is abit category-c... either that or abit hiphop... but not the flamboyant kind with NY caps and colourful shirts... more like tight anoraks, really expensive adventure jackets (of course nicked ones:)) levis and clean sneakers.

i think the diversity within the music itself gives a huge range of styles for the people that listen to it.

I always thought it was more an 'urban' style. Brands like King Apparel, Dephect, Fenchurch, Fly53 etc. Isn't Method One 'sponsered' by Addict? (It might be Stunna actaully I cant remember)
I buy most of my clothes from Chemical anyway

These gents are right, though I would saythat the bigger events APE, Warehouse Project and Hit&Run are more like fashion parades.

Id say one of the beauties of DNB is people don't really judge you on what you wear. As long as you like the music you are welcome.

Yeah I know what you mean, Pendulum live at warehouse project a few years ago was a perfect example, although the great thing was after pendulum finished they all fucked off an it left more room on the dancefloor for Andy C's set

i think you would be judged if u turned to to accelerated culture in a tuxedo, smokin and pipe frilling your cravate all night, then u would also get ya ears boxed outside if u already didnt die inside from sheer embarressment, as you will be gettin pionted and laughed at by scallys, jus sayin.
