They are all pretty crap IMHO, mostly sucking up to whomever is hot or has been around for a long time.
I hate that most of them never really pan any tunes that they review, even the ones that really deserve it.
True that. As much as I like Knowledge (their MP3 reviews turned me on to Fusebox...and got me back into producing, by association), the critical depth of their reviews is pretty much non-existent.
Personally I like ATM the best but I'm not shelling out that kind of dough for a subscription
i like knowledge but lexicons cool cos i always get it free
It's a free mag innit?
yup. whereas the others you have to pay for
Used to read atm, don't bother with any now really.......
Don't really both with any of 'em regularly anymore. The news is always well out of date, the interviews are generally boring (stuff like a day in the life of DJ Hype - who gives a shit???) and the reviews aren't in depth enough and nowadays you can hear most tunes on the net anyway.
Sometimes buy Knowledge if there's a good CD on it, otherwise I don't bother.
I dont buy any of em anymore, I used to buy ATM & Knowlege.
Just save my money, & listen to new releases & interviews on the net
