Rules:
- One tune per member. Non members are welcome to join the board and take part.
- Tunes must somehow be drum n bass. From Bossa Nova to Skullstep, any style is
welcome just as long as it feels like dnb.
- Only sounds from the sample pack. Go crazy with any processing that you can think of,
but no additional samples, recordings or synths.
- Remember to keep notes of your processing, as you may be asked to prove how you
came up with any sounds in your tune.
- All tunes need to be submitted before or on midnight 1st of December. No exceptions.

Submission guidelines:
- Render only to mp3, 320 Kbps.
- Tag you tunes exactly like this: Dnbforum_Production_Competition_08_[ARTIST]_[TUNE]
- Upload to http://www.sendspace.com, and send the link to mmoraitis@gmail.com

Assessment:
A public thread will be used to provide links to download and preview the submissions.
All tunes will remain anonymous to ensure a fair vote. Any entrant or members found to be
identifying and/or promoting tunes publicly or in private, will be disqualified and banned
from future competitions. The winners will be decided solely on public opinion.
Democracy sucks, but it’ll do for now…


Winners:
There will be a winner and a runner up, and the results will be released at the last minute of 2008.
The winner will be notified the following day by a carnival parade around his residence,
and greeted by the organisers and Elton John. A private jet will fly you to the headquarters
of Sony BMG, where you will have a meeting with the CEO, and sign a $2 million contract.
The runner up will receive a text message, and will have the opportunity to be the winner’s
sidekick/bitch.

no, it's just that you're american, and you guys read the dates funny. quite like brits drive the wrong side of the road.
deadline is the 1st of December.

read the assessment part of the rules. some people have been here longer and/or have created rapports with other members. In order to give everyone a fair chance, it needs to be hush hush who did what tune. Hold your bragging for the next year, as we'll open a new thread for comments and feedback.

yeah sick idea! ive just started on cubase so ill be really interested how people have used the samples. i reckon we should set up another sample pack and sent like a week deadline id just be interested

rather a lot of processing required to
write a decent tune....
dont really feel like writing a novel at the same time

just for good measure mate. we wont ask for your project files or nothing...
but sum like to take the piss, and that needs to be dealt with.
