I want to make a beat like that so bad:
    http://soundcloud.com/haxbox/soligen-172-bpm-hard-hitting

I have cited my sources about making a sick bassline, but now I need help making a drum loop like the above.
I did not liked my Dsorg Drum Samples, most of them are dull, any help appriciated.

Also draw me a beat placement on ms paint or photoshop or w/e

    I love you man.
And, can I turn a regular snare into a light one by tuning it a bit?

you can turn most snares into that snare by pitching distorting and eqing but it really is ten times more easier if you start with samples that resemble what youre after. i think the worm break could have some similar ghost hits so check that.

/\ This. It will save you loads of time/headaches. A good rule to follow: shit in, shit out. In other words, if the source material is lacking, than the end result will be as well.

    Cheers.

Got a midi keyboard or drum pad? listen along and mash in a pattern your feeling, easiest way really, fastest way to get an idea from your head to the project.
