Anyone had to fix anything on their pioneer before?

Had my 600 for 10 years and its been nothing but gold.
    till the other day.
When i use the bass eq on channel 3 i get a lot of crackling noise.

i moved channel 3 to 4. problem solved. but its really annoying me now.

tried searching for the part i need but all the results seem to link me to a new bass eq knob. i dont want the knob, i need the mechanism underneath.

can anyone help me out? not sure if you can replace it and if you can what part i need.

parts diagram http://site.instrumentalparts.com/DJM600.pdf didn't help me tho.

Sounds like dust dude, open it up and get a high pressure airline thru all the knobs and see if that fixes it. If not, I can deffo do the replacement for you (y)

^ Russ is probably right on this one Ted.

Had a similar problem with my 600. Took it to my pal and he straight away said it could do with a good clean inside. Bish bash bosh still working well to this day.

That parts diagram is confusing as fuck!
