People can slate people on here for using pre pitched cds but don't slag off zinc, 1. The guy has the balls to follow his heart as opposed to money 2. He may have been awful but so what? Atleast he clearly wasnt on the pre piched cds bandwagon 3. Who's not to say there was problems with the set up, monitors etc? I can mix and have been for 10 years but I still have sets where I dont play to the best of my ability due to equipment fults that may not always be obvious to the crowd ie MC's coming thru monitors, shitty monitor speakers etc. Completely switching genres is a big deal no matter who you are, You imagen being an electrician all of your life and then switching to becoming a baker, Kinda like that. I was only saying last night that I miss Zinc's stuff, he was another valuable asset that dnb has lost but so what hes a nice guy and hes followed his heart rather than the pound signs, I havent heard what hes doing now but I dont need to because I know what Zinc stands for and even if like you say he did clear a dancefloor it won't be becuase hes dropping his standards
