DJ & MC

I know this will probably be a dumb question but do all the big dj's use MC's??? Are they usually provided by the club??? I'm just not a big fan of the MC's... They take away from the quality of the music... So I just wanted to know how many of these dj's in the clubs are using mc's all the time... Or is it just a once in awhile thing or if they are on tour...

its the promoters that pay them the £££ so i guess so.

im not into mc's in a big way, i listen to rap for that; but i have to say some can hype the crowd well where others can spoil it. so as long as clubs keep booking them they will always be there

i wudn't of thought that the djs had all that much choice in the matter, it is down to the promoter...unless they are a dj-mc team in which case if they are booked together generally they wud play 2getha...
