So here we have my warm up into 2013 !!
My last full mix was back in December and since then Iv found full time work and been able to afford two more CDJs.

Before going any further I will apologise for the two skips that happen during the mix, my laptop being on its last legs has started to play up when I'm recording, but really wanted to get this mix out there and I assure you plenty more mixes will be coming this year..

For this mix Iv tried taking it to the next step and occasional mixing 3 tunes at the same time.
Although difficult I hope over time I can conquer this technique.. but we shall see..

Tried to have alot of fun with this mix, including aload of tunes I love, past and present, while trying to mix all

the genres of Drum and Bass. Really hope you enjoy, and any comments are very welcome.

Yes Danny wicked mix! Almost didn't make it past the first tune but after that it was boom tings..


Alot of heavy tunes I've not heard before have to nick some of them hope you don't mind. Top mixing which is standard from you obviously. Beyond our Dreams >> Iron Fingers and Get Busy >> ??? had me properly pumping my arms! Actually what tune is Get Busy double dropped with at 41m35? Sounds a bit Mampish but it doesn't appear to be on the track list.

Also your mate's Fewcha tune is absolutely firing m9..

How are you finding the whole 3 deck thing? Kinda chaotic when I tried it imo.

Dont find the 3 deck thing too bad, been doing 2 vinyl 1 cdj for years, but now iv got 3 cdjs, plus the two vinyl still, but i dont buy vinyl anymore, so just use them for the odd classic bits
Gonna work on the new mix this weekend, bit annoyed with this one really
 
had a listen whilst doing some work earlier, definitely wasn't good for my productivity!

first section wasn't tunes i know but i really enjoyed it, nice to get a jump up fix every now and then and i do look out for your mixes as you always have a balance between some of it but then a big range of other tunes as well, which is what i find i need to be honest. that iron fingers tune in particular is real good.

this i loved, Mr Explicit makes some sick tunes, completely forgot about cringe to be honest, but i heard it getting mixed and recognised it instantly, such a riddim - nice to hear someone else knows about him! worked really well in the mix as well.

to be honest i don't really need to say too much, your mixing is spot on, didn't notice a single blip which is seriously good on 3 decks, high standard you've set yourself now man.

always nice to hear something a little different at the end, teardrops works well anywhere and it was a nice treat to hear some of it right at the end.

good stuff as always mate, look forward to the next (or the ones i've missed in between!)
 
High octane mix right from the beginning, can imagine this going off pretty well on the dancefloor. Spread Out tease is insane, adding to the damage of Suffer No Fools and it gets pretty hectic with Visual Attack coming in. I need to get Iron Fingers, such a fun tune to hear in a mix really. Oh gosh, Beyond Our Dreams taking over and doing the business! Marching Power is kinda nice, haven't heard this one before. Monolith tease was well executed and here comes Tap Dat, need to get this one finally, too. Ouch, that Focus tune is massive! My favourite blend so far right here, just wicked, twisting it into a slightly more subtle yet steppy affair! Fewcha is also a quite nice tune, sat really well right there. Spaceface Bass Rider takes it a bit deeper with its growling bassline, but here comes Miles Groove to lighten it up a bit with its piano chords, nice contrasting blend this one!
And it's time for some Hospital classic, ain't it? Groovy! Switch into The Hurting, one of my favourite tunes atm, calming the mix down, me likey. Tracking You poking through with it's broken beats and slowly taking over the mix, lovely blend. And it gets rolling again! Love's Theme, another soothing classic. I can already here the monstrous crawling bassline of Drop The Funk coming in, let it build up and DROP THE FUNK! Oh shit, time to change my pants, Ghetto Blaster twisting the very nature of the mix :D
Wasn't expecting that tease of Go RMX to work that well, fair play Danny! Dead Idols comes in with its unsettling vocals over the intro, love the steepness of that double. Another well executed tease of A Bunch Of Fives, you definitely have an ear for how to use those. The creepy harmonies of The Rift coming slowly into the mix, ouch, that hurts on the drop! Are you ready for a ride?! Jaipur RMX works so well with The Rift, been doing this blend the other way round, can't stop myself bouncing to this one :)
Wow, haven't heard Sekund Fort before, what a tune! And great blend with Jaipur RMX! Geez, and the same applies for Septic, definitely a favourite section of the mix so far for me. Oh, c'mon, stop that man! That tease of Gangster, fucking hell, I mean I would head bang the nearest wall in a club!
Another wow moment, bringing the heat down for a while with that hiphop intro of Niggaz In Paris RMX, but it gets rolling again and ooomph, that mix with Get Busy is just pure madness! Real Talk twisting the mix once again with its saw-like growls. 2012 cutting into deep, love that Panic Stations tease, keeping the mix rolling and interesting. And here's that big roaring bassline of Cringe, wicked stuff! I can hear Scavenger making its way into the mix, I have high expectations for this double...and there it is, love the EQing on this, gunfingers all around the place! Hmmm Headroom...never thought about doing this double myself, but boy that does the damage, biggles! Morning Light brought nicely into the mix and closing it with Teardrop? Massive. Love this tune so much.

This is the prime example of a mix I'd like to hear when I go out. Pacey mixing, great selection (deadly balance of flavours and of well-known and unknown tunes for me), technically spot on. Seriously great stuff and respect for being able to pull out this on three decks :)

I know jumpup isnt everyones cup o tee but cause of the events I had coming up were both jumpup, just wanted this as like a little promo mix done but glad you gave it a spin regardless and chuffed you actually enjoyed it too ;)

'time to change my pants' made me laugh, that mix with Ghetto Blaster was getting me bouncing my head off the mixer, plus 'the ride' of the The Rift >> Jaipur, love that mix ! Youve certainly picked up on the bits I wanted to showcase like the Groove, the heavy parts then the rollers, so happy its come across well.
Hopefully have a new mix up soon ;)
