Abstract is widely considered to be one of the most influential players in the United States drum and bass scene - from throwing the seminal Bay Area weekly "Energi" to DJing with Phunckateck Communications to starting his label Pneuma Recordings, Alex has dedicated all his spare energy and time into helping to forge what is now one of the nation's strongest scenes in San Francisco.
