Displaying private tracks on soundcloud

I basically want to upload a clip of a tune i'm working on for people on here to check out and give feedback on etc, but i don't want any of my soundcloud followers to see it. If i set the track as private, is it just a case of copying/pasting the link to you guys so you can hear it. Or do i have to make the track public?

it is entirely that simple. you have to post the private link though. if on new soundcloud you clikc share track, then it says share private link. copy and paste that link and people can see it
