    hey guys,

    http://soundcloud.com/busdriver/dirty-souls-no-mastering

    Any feedback welcome.
Any advice on mastering worthy or not too.

Furthermore, i never took time to identify DnB forumers in my followers, so long story short, anyone who comment on my SC on this track will be identified as a magnificent member of this oh so great and shiny forum and will be followed in return.

    Long live the queen.

    Peace.

Hey man! You got your own sound for sure, I like the sound to it. Really like the intro. Tho I feel like the main section could use some more "structure", feels like the drums and the bass/synth-sounds doesn't play all that well together. Or maybe you just need to make the kick come trough more, I don't know but thats the feeling that I get.

Really cool and original feel to it tho!

    Thx mate, much apreciated!

I agree with the lack of "glue" feeling in the main part. It's one of my nightmares and i guess it has to do with the differents reverbs and compression, but i can't figure out how to fix that. I spent hours trying to and didn't come out with anything...

    Thx mate!

So much time spent on it that it didn't hit me that the kick wasn't cutting through.

Anything more on how to glue things together? Compression settings or anything? Anyone?

Yeah things get a bit tricky when you have lots of different bass sounds

have you tried grouping them all together and compressing?

    Yeah,

i think that a part of my problems come from the fact that i do use a shitload of stems. I have maybe 20 or 30 differents hits (Don't even speak of drms) and it's very tricky to mix.
I do have a group track for low, med, and high synths and a master synth in which they all go. I'll try some more compression or some different settings.

I think you mix with your volumes to loud. Sond over all could be cool.

    Thanks for your income mate.
I thought that this thread was going to sink into oblivion without any more comments.
Yeah i mix far too loud and i'm starting over my production routine with a brand new workflow. Getting familiar with K-metering and low volume mixing etc...
Lot of reading to do and it changes my whole workflow. Very hard to handle.

    Wish me luck!

Thanks for the cheer up too.

Very interesting sound. I think there is stereo on the wobbly bass at times. Also the transition from the intro to main section seems a bit abrupt.
