£7 ON THE DOOR
We want to start off by saying a huge thanks to everyone that came down to our last event and made it an absolute belter. Again every single DJ and MC was on point and some absolute legends touched down in Mansfield to get the local people moving their feet.
This time round we are bringing in yet another BBC Radio 1 DJ. This time we welcome BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s CRISSY CRISS. Crissy hosts one of the most popular weekly shows on 1 Xtra and is one of the fastest growing Drum & Bass DJ/Producer’s in the scene. You can catch his show every Thursday 01:00 – 04:00 GMT. Alongside Crissy we have one of the leading members of UNCZ in the form of FUNSTA MC. M.C. Fun da Funsta has been rapping since he was 7 and writing lyrics since 1994. He is a new breed of MC possessing the mic. skills both to chat fast and spit more conscious-led lyrics. Fusing his talent and experience with a love of both Drum n Bass and Hip Hop, MC Fun has developed a style which is always mesmerising, sometimes thought-provoking and uniquely his own. To top off our headline acts we welcome back one of Germany’s brightest DJ and Production talents.
Dennis aka PHANTOM WARRIOR has been involved with the Jungle and Drum & Bass scene in Germany since the early 90’s and this has allowed him to play at most if not all of the biggest events in his home country. He is also an up and coming producer and has had several releases on German digital label SRBE. The man is a legend in his home country so he is definitely one to watch out for!
We also have support provided by the one and only SPLIT LINK. All of this topped up with some resident action from DAN HOAX and VINYL VORTEX and this is set to the biggest event we have held so far.
MC’s on the night will be Mansfield legend P-Fine (Petapan) and Dirty
Freq’s resident MC's TIMMA T and STEVIE G.
The sound on the night will be provided by a monster BOOMSHAKA
SOUNDSYSTEM for your aural pleasure. This is one night that is not to be
missed!
